 Introduction:  K₂CO_3,  the relative molecular weight is 138.19, the relative density is 2.428 and its melting point is 891.It is easily dissolved in water; the aqueous solution is in the state of alkalinity. It can not be dissolved in ethanol and aether. It has the characteristics of hygroscopicity, and can be changed to clumps, which changes to potassium acid carbonate when it contacts carbon dioxide in the air.
