Ultramarine Blue, Pigment Blue 29, is an inorganic pigments whose color is blue. It is a sodium alumino-sulphosilicate. This pigment is the synthetic form of Lazurite.
Compared with other blue pigment or dyes, ultramarine blue has the advantages of clean and bright reddish blue shade.
Ultramarine Blue is good at white correcting that covers yellowish shades. This whitening characteristic is widely applied in many fields, e.g. detergent & Soap, plastics and rubber, paints and coating, etc.
